Here there will be quips and quotes from those I love, rants and discussions (on feminism, sexuality, veganism, psychology, yoga philosophy, and random events from my day) and lots of sex and horror themed pictures.

Quote reblogged from pterrordactyl with 57 notes

Eating animals acts as a mirror and representation of patriarchal values. Meat eating is the re-inscription of male power at every meal…if meat is a symbol of male dominance than the presence of meat proclaims the disempowering of women.

Carol J. Adams in “The Sexual Politics of Meat” (via thecaffeinatedvegan)

so eating vegetables is the empowerment of women? wtf is this? food is food. fuck.

(via ladiesplusjunk)

I believe this is why most people think feminist are nutty. This makes no sense. How on earth does meat represent patriachy??? (No I don’t think feminists are nutty)

It has to do with meat being a representation of masculinity as well as a patriarchal system that oppresses both women and nonhuman beings.  It’s quite a mind-blowing concept, but one I totally agree with.

It’s true. I also advocate that men should stop breathing. Obviously.

This is hilarious. I guess the mere action of a man breathing is also an act of patriarchy.
